What URL can I use to go directly to a calendar?

Of course, you will have to substitute the correct path to your Calcium script.

How do I put an image in event text?

Just use the standard HTML <IMG> tag in the event text. You can put a picture of, say, a Big Black Dog in an event or header using text something like:
Look at my dog: <img src="/images/BigBlackDog.jpg">
And if you want that image to be a clickable link, try
Click on my dog: <a href="http://www.mydog.com">
       <img src="/images/BigBlackDog.jpg"></a>

Speeding Up Your Calendar by Deleting Old Months of Events

If you continue to add more events to your calendar, its file size will grow. The bigger its file size, the slower it displays. If your calendar is large, you can greatly speed up the loading of your calendar by deleting obsolete old months of events.

This will not be useful, unless your calendar has, say, more than 100 events or has a lot of events that have lengthy pop-up text with them. You can see how large your file is by exporting your events. If the file is larger than 100k, you most certainly should reduce its size.

If you have Administer permission in a calendar, you can delete a large number of events at once using the Delete Events link from the Calendar Settings page. Follow that link, then specify the date range; all events which occur between those dates will be deleted. If a repeating event occurs in the date range, that event definition will only be deleted if all occurrences of that repeating event occur in the range.

One precaution you should take before doing this is to use export your events to your PC so you have an easy to use backup.

Note: If you by accident delete more months than you wanted to, immediately send email to Restore My Calendar and stop editing your calendar. Usually within 24 hours, we will restore the most recent backup of your calendar file. We backup files on the public server every 24 hours.
